Here are some spoilers posted on the website:
Troy Bolton's parents will return and we will see his uncle who will be played by Bart Johnson's brother, Brad Johnson.
Chad Danforth's parents will be in the movie but it is unknown who plays them.
Sharpay's Mom & Dad will return as Mr. and Mrs. Evans.
Gabriella's Mom will return in the movie from being absent from the second movie, but little is known about Gabriella's Dad.
There is a car wash scene where 4 buff guys was Sharpay's car of course.
There are a total of 3 or 4 solo songs. Sharpay, Ryan and Troy are rumored to have them and maybe Gabriella.

* In the musical, the cheerleaders come out onto the stage and do a cheer.
* Then the basketball team comes out on the stage and does some awesome dances with basketballs. (GET CHA HEAD IN THE GAME 2)
* Sharpay sings a solo song where Troy is supposed to sing with her, but Jimmy shows up on stage instead and embrasses Sharpay.
* Sharpay is humiliated because she is allergic to his cologne and runs off the stage.
* Troy and Gabriella sing a duet (NOT RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW) that is awesome.
* At the end of the musical, Sharpay's understudy, Tiara, tries to steal the show.
* Sharpay comes back on stage and her and Tiara start a sing-off.
* Taylor goes to Yale.
* Ryan gets the scholarship because of his choreography for the musical, not his solo song, but he does have a solo song.
* At Graduation, Troy gives a speech where he says, "Once a Wildcat, Always A Wildcat!"
* Everyone cheers, then the seniors start doing some choreography. The camera view shows the crowd from above spelling out "EH" for East High and then they form the Wildcat Logo.
* Then the end song, "High School Musical" plays and the gang sing and dance including the famous "Wildcat Rollercoaster" as seen in the second movie.

IN THE BEGINNING DURING THE BASKETBALL FINALS:
* The wildcats win the Basketball State Championship against the West High Knights.
* Jimmy "The Rocket" Soto shoots the winning shot in the game.
* Troy gets fouled during the basketball game and everything goes into slow-motion. Everyone gets worried while Troy makes his free throw shots and "Now Or Never" starts to play.
IN THE MUSICAL:
* Tiara and Sharpay have a sing-off during the musical.
* Jimmy wears some cologne that Sharpay is allergic to so she runs off the stage.
* Ryan does a big musical number in the musical that gets him a scholarship.
DURING GRADUATION:
* Apparently, after the musical, their graduation starts. As the seniors come out on stage, they announced what was happening to them.
* Troy gives a speech and they all do a dance.
* The speech was in audible to the extras though so no one knows what he says.
* Troy will major in Theatre and Basketball so he leaves his best friend Chad and goes to a college named Berkley.
* Troy and Chad have an argument when Chad finds out Troy is going to Berkley instead of The University of Alberque with him, and of course they make up.
* Chad is going to the University of Alberque to play basketball.
* Gabriella is going to a college named Stanford.
* Love works its magic, and Troy and Gabriella are only 30 minutes away from each other's school.
* Sharpay will take over the drama department at East High.
* Ryan gets offered a scholarship from Juilliard.
* Kelsi also gets a scholarship for music.

In the beginning of the film, the wildcats basketball team are playing the West High Knights again but this is state. Troy gets fouled and people are worried and concerned. The crowd puts cards over their head that reveal Wildcat paws. Troy sees Gabriella in the crowd too and the first song begins. The crowd flips the cards and it says "Go." During the song, everyone is singing and the team is playing basketball with the crowd singing stuff like "Score, Three More" which is part of the song. With the cheerleaders doing the most amazing routine and the crowd is going wild.

* Sharpay and Ryan's musical number in the cafeteria will be a hit.
* Taylor's hair is shorter and her costumes are different but in a good way.
* Gabriella's hair is longer than #1 and #2.
* Sharpay's prom dress has rhinestones, feathers, and of course IT'S FABULOUS!!
* Chad's prom tux has DANFORTH #8 on the back.
* Kelsi's hair is longer and she kinda grew up more.
* The opening number will be in the gym.
* There are a total of 12 songs in the movie, but there may be 17 songs on the soundtrack.
* The musical the wildcats put on will include a prom scene.
* It is unknown wheter the wildcats might actually have a prom.

Sharpay's plan will not work as easily as it did in HSM2!
Sharpay will have a new crush ~~ Zeke? Maybe!
Sharpay, of course, will do anything to get prom queen.
We'll see the side of Gabriella from HSM and the side from HSM2 ~~ Someone Gets Stronger!

Ryan shows more of his wildcat spirit instead of Sharpay's poodle/sidekick/lab rat.
Chad and Taylor are trying to get the dating thing to work.
Taylor basically trys to tell Chad to just ask me out like a gentlemen but Chad isn't that focused.
Troy and Gabriella want to get the lead roles in the spring musical.
Sharpay will try and compete to get a lead role in the musical again.
The wildcats are worried about their future in college without each other.
The wildcats wonder if they'll still be all in this together.
Jason gets a new girlfriend ~~ could it be Kelsi or Martha or someone new.
Ryan shows more of his Gabriella crush from HSM2.
The new wildcats, Tiara, Donnie, Jimmy, will be in the musical and more likely to be seen hanging out with the wildcat seniors.

There will be alot more powerful musical numbers and bigger dance numbers and scenes.
The movie takes place at East High, and we will see the rooms of Troy, Gabriella, and Sharpay.
The DVD will most likely be made for a 2009 Summer Release.
We know the movie will be made for a October 24 Theaterical Release only in theaters.
It will make you cry, laugh, and be on the edge of your seats to see what happens next.
There will be references to the first two films and more.
Troy, Sharpay and Gabriella all get solos.
Troy and Gabriella will sing a duet.
The recent tracklisting is not confirmed and the new tracklisting cannot be released.
Everything has to stay under wraps until it's closer to the release of HSM3.

Ashley recently sat down with US weekly and spilled some info on the upcoming High School movie, it turns Sharpay hasn’t changed since the last movie!
“She is a manipulator, a villain and a drama queen,” Tisdale, 22, said while promoting her Degree Girl contest (in which she’ll give away a trip to a future concert). “And she always has her eye on Troy. It’s Zac Efron - who wouldn’t?” Tisdale adds that beau Jared Murillo, 19 - who had a bit part in the sequel (they began dating in February 2007) - won’t be back this time.
Ashley also said that the third iHigh School Musical (due in theaters October 24) is a “more amazing, more exciting and much bigger production” than the first two. Her character, Sharpay, will once again try to come between Troy (Zac Efron) and Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens).
Too bad: Since it’s about their senior year at East High, the movie “will probably include prom and graduation,” she says. Bring on the big dance numbers!
