Okay, so I posted this on fanfic.net and since it's the same fandom I thought that I could put it here. Please tell me what you think because I really need outside opinions. It could be any Troy pairing anyway! Enjoy

“They love to tell you
stay inside the lines
but something's better
on the other side”
The song echoes through her. She had a long night. Long in the sense of not wanting it to end but anxiously screaming for the chance to see the sun. Confusing, huh? But to her the fact that she has to leave meant that everything is changing and she always looked back after the change has been made. This being a choice she keeps on making even though she knows how poignant she’ll end up feeling, and now, she has no choice.
You know when you feel empty right after someone just left and that even if you wanted to be alone you’re wishing that they comeback? Somehow this thing felt the same for her. It’s as if someone or something left her even though she left them.
Somehow through all of this she still can’t manage not to single out one person. Troy. He was the first guy she said I love you to and that’s might’ve been the reason. Or maybe that he always seemed to make her smile.
A voice suddenly popped up from the intercom telling us that we’re ready to take off. “This is it,” she started thinking, “It’s actually happening.” She closes her eyes.
…
“Well, you’re leaving tomorrow.” He said while absent mindedly playing with her hands.
“Yeah,” she said, not knowing what else to say.
“What’s going to happen to us?” he said looking her in the eye.
“Honestly?”
He nods. “I don’t know.” She replies.
“We could, I don’t know maybe, go for a long distance relationship. Except that, it wouldn’t be likely that the relationship would last… Would it?” she asked though she thinks she knows the answer.
“Do you want it to?” he asked. Silence filled the air.
“Do I want what to?” She asked as if mocking him but not meaning to.
“Do you want for this to end?” he asked. His eyes completely focused on her.
“No… but wouldn’t we be better off?”
“Oh.”
“Troy, I didn’t mean it in that way… I-I meant that wouldn’t it be too hard to maintain that kind of relationship?” She asked hoping that this wouldn’t be the last thing they say to each other. Unfortunately, Troy seems to be thinking a whole different thing.
“Maybe you’re right.” The light bounces off his shiny blue eyes. Then he starts walking away. While she is left thinking that she made a mistake.
“People who are meant for each other always seem to find a way back,” It whispered. The engine of his car starts. She has to make this better. The car was half way out the driveway when she reached it.
“Troy.” She uttered.
“What?” He looks at her trying to decipher the look on her face: tears streaming down her cheeks and gently falling to the ground.
“This shouldn’t be the end.”
“But you said,” confusion wouldn’t go unnoticed on his face.
“I know what I said, but the truth is: If we were really and truly meant for each other shouldn’t we at least leave a chapter open just so that if we find a way back we have a chance?”
“Okay,” he said as he got out of his car. He was right in front of her now: his eyes staring into hers. She closes her eyes.
…
Opening her eyes, she knew that she should’ve gotten that ending not the accurate ending of her not being able to move. There’s those times where you get everything you want and then there’s those endings when there’s no such thing as a happy one. But overall, even if you’ve prepared for everything, the event will just shock you and leave you motionless.
